10th February 2003

Shane joins the Magic CircleObleo has been awarded membership to the Magic Circle following his success in the Young Magician of the Year competitionm making him one of the youngest members of this exclusive club.. Although he won the competition in 2001 he had to wait until he was 18 before if could become a full member of the Magic Circle.

4th May 2002

I performed as Chuckit and Obleo with our stage at The Lord Whiskey animal sanctuary. This was a very successful outdoor event

28th April 2002

I performed twice at The Woodville Halls Theatre in Gravesend as a guest performer of BBC Radio Kents Mr. Paul James & Mr. Paul Harris in a two hour comedy and music spectacular.

24th April 2002

The Granville Theatre Ramsgate on Tuesday 23 April this was the annual Red Rose St. Georges Day event and also included a comedy magical sketch performance by Airgon and Zaffree also members of The Southern Sorcerers.

21st April 2002

Obleo performed at The Basingstoke Festival of Magic gala show to a very appreciative audiance. Prior to this act he also performed with his other hat on as the juggler CHUCKIT. Many people were quite surprised as it was not common knowledge amongst the magical fraternity that Shane is not only Obleo but also Chuckit from the juggling duo Chuckit and Phumble.

14th March 2002

Once again Obleo closed the show at the Duke of Edinburgh awards ceremony at The Margate Winter Gardens. This was the second year running that Obleo was asked to perform at this prestigious ceremony.

25th November 2001

The Shadow BoxObleo performed at The Winter Gardens in Margate. This was a Starlite Entertainers production called "THE NIGHT OF A THOUSAND DANCING FEET" a two hour variety charity show in aid of Children in need and the Demelza Children's Hospice. This was very well attended and raised over £3000 for the charities.

1st November 2001

A Charity event for "Children In Need" was organised by BBC Radio Kent at The Theatre Royal in Margate and was a huge success. Once again Obleo performed to a full House. The Radio presenters staged a fantastic comedy and variety show.

3rd October 2001

A Charity Show with magicians Nic Picot, Mark Cosby, Ali Bongo, Jez Rose, Amanda Muden and Obleo organised by Professor Colin Francome to compliment the launch of Magic Aid, was held at The Magic Circle. This book is aimed at letting young magicians have fun performing magic tricks. The book is aimed in particular towards young people. All the Authors have donated their services and the money raised will be donated to children's charities. The book Magic Aid is available from all good book shops at £4.95 ISBN 0-953-93591-4

22nd September 2001

The Southern Sorcerers family evening of magic and illusion at The Theatre Royal in Margate was a huge success.
